By plane
By plane: from Naples Capodichino Airport you can reach the Beverello, the main port connecting the island to the mainland, either by taxi taking advantage of the fixed rate displayed on the counter, or by bus with an "Alibus" ticket which can be bought on board.
By train
Ischia is easily accessible by train, with two stations, the Central Station of Naples or that of Mergellina, not very far from the ferries to the island. The Central Station is easily connected either by taxi or by bus and the bus ticket can be bought at the station. Mergellina station is 5 minutes walk from the marina, where you can catch one of the many and frequent hydrofoils.
By bus

By car
Leaving the highway just after the Napoli exit follow the road signs to Naples port area and then those to Calata Porta di Massa, where you can embark on the first ferry leaving for Ischia. Alternatively, just after the Naples exit, you can enter the bypass towards Pozzuoli. Go along the bypass, take the first exit Via Campana, follow the signs to the port and travel to Ischia Porto or Casamicciola Terme. Avoid Mergellina as the hydrofoils that depart do not allow the boarding of cars.
